Exciting news has just landed for all Xbox Game Pass subscribers! The immensely popular and hilarious game “Party Animals” has officially joined the Xbox Game Pass lineup. If you’ve been itching for a riotous, physics-based multiplayer experience that will have you and your friends laughing until your sides hurt, look no further. In this article, we’ll delve into what makes Party Animals such a hit and why its availability on Xbox Game Pass is a game-changer for subscribers.

Party Animals, developed by Recreate Games, quickly garnered attention for its charming and quirky gameplay. Players control anthropomorphic animals with physics-driven movements, engaging in hilarious and often absurd mini-games. These mini-games cover various activities, from sumo wrestling and soccer matches to chaotic obstacle courses and even physics-defying basketball matches.

If you’re a subscriber and want to get in on the furry, physics-based action, here’s how to get started on your Xbox Series X|S:

    1. Open Xbox Game Pass: Launch your Xbox Game Pass application or visit the Xbox Game Pass website.
    2. Search for Party Animals: Use the search feature to locate Party Animals in the game catalog.
    3. Download and Play: Click on the game, download it, and start enjoying the riotous fun with friends and family.

Is Party Animals on PC Game Pass?

Party Animals isn’t available on PC Game Pass like many other titles that’s available on Xbox Game Pass at the same time. This might be related to the reason why the game is not yet available on PS5, PS4 and the Nintendo Switch. However, there’s good news for PC gamers who are eager to join the party. Party Animals is accessible on PC via xCloud, Microsoft’s cloud gaming service. With xCloud, you can stream and play Party Animals on your PC, even if you don’t own an Xbox console.

To play Party Animals on xCloud, you’ll need the following:

    1. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscription: To access xCloud, you must have an active subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. This subscription combines Xbox Live Gold, Xbox Game Pass for Console, and Xbox Game Pass for PC, along with access to cloud gaming.
    2. Compatible Device: You can play xCloud games on a variety of compatible devices, including:
      • Android Smartphones and Tablets: xCloud was initially launched on Android devices. You’ll need a compatible Android device with the Xbox Game Pass app installed.
      • Windows PCs: Microsoft has extended cloud gaming access to Windows 10 PCs through web browsers like Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox.
      • iOS Devices (via Browser): As of my last update in September 2021, xCloud is accessible on iOS devices through web browsers like Safari.
      • Xbox Consoles: You can also use xCloud on Xbox consoles to play a wide range of games from the Game Pass library.
    3. Controller: For the best gaming experience, it’s recommended to have a compatible controller. Many Xbox controllers, including Xbox Wireless Controllers and some third-party controllers, work seamlessly with xCloud.
    4. Stable Internet Connection: A stable and reasonably fast internet connection is essential for smooth gameplay. A minimum download speed of 10-20 Mbps is usually recommended for a good experience, but faster speeds and lower latency connections will provide better results.
    5. Microsoft Account: You’ll need a Microsoft account to sign in to the Xbox Game Pass app on your device and access the xCloud game library.

Once you have these essentials in place, you can enjoy playing Party Animals on xCloud by launching the Xbox Game Pass app on your device and selecting from the available games in the cloud gaming library.

As of September 20, 2023, Party Animals officially launched on Xbox platforms (Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One) and PC through Steam.
