HoYoVerse has recently concluded the special Genshin Impact version 3.6 special program and has now revealed details of the upcoming new update.
Genshin Impact version 3.6 A Parade of Providence will be released this coming April 12, 2023. This will bring the first Akademiya Extravaganza and bring players to a new adventure-filled area in Sumeru. This will also introduce two new playable characters in the game: Baizhu and Kaveh.
The Akademiya Extravaganza is hosted by the Sumeru Akademiya offering visitors the chance to learn more about the institute of all Teyvat and the wisdom pursued by its Six Darshans. There will be two main events called the Wisdom Gala and the Interdarshan Championship. There will be booths set up at the Gala and six different mini-games can be played each designed by one of the six Darshans to showcase their research interests and achievements. In a new storyline, representatives of the Six Darshans will be competing for the top spot at the Interdarshan Championship.
There is also the new Hangout Quest for Layla when the update comes out.
A new area will be opened outside Sumeru City which includes wastelands and an oasis. This area has been damaged by Gray Crystals and corruptive Purple Mists. According to the legends, this place was one of the main battlefields during the Khaenri’ah cataclysm five hundred years ago.
Apep, the Dragon of Verdure, will now appear in the new Trounce Domain as a weekly boss. Play through Nahida’s Story Quest Sapientia Oromasdis Chapter: Act II to know more about this powerful dragon. More enemies have also emerged including the new Boss Enemy Iniquitous Baptist, the Anemo Hilichurl Rogue, and the Hydro Hilichurl Rogue.
Two new playable characters Baizhu and Kaven will be introduced in the new update too. The five-star Catalyst wielder Baizhu is a doctor with the power of Dendro, capable of driving wandering sprites, and raising a Seamless Shield to heal the team. Kaveh is a four-star Dendro Claymore wielder and known as the Light of Kshahrewar. He is a talented architect in Sumeru. His toolbox Mehrak will trigger all Dendro Cores and cause them to burst by scanning the battlefield.
Version 3.6 will also have reruns of Nahida and Nilou in the first half while the latter half will be Baizhu and Kaveh.
